The Grand Voyage - Malta to Rio
October - November 2007
This was our third voyage on the expedition ship, Clipper Adventurer. We toured Malta and the nearby island, Gozo, for several days and then boarded the Adventurer. We visited Algiers, Casablanca, Tenerife in the Canary Islands, Cape Verde and then continued across the Atlantic Ocean to Brazil. Our stops there included Natal, Salvador de Bahia and Rio de Janeiro. We toured Rio and vicinity for four days and then flew back to Pittsburgh after our month-long Grand Voyage.
