The Polar Bears of Churchill

October - November 2009

The first snow storm of the season greeted our arrival in Churchill, Manitoba on October 30 - and a week later, another snow storm delayed our departure by twenty-four hours!   In between we spent four days in custom-built tundra buddies viewing dozens of polar bears.  Amazing animals, they look so cute but they are more aggressive than grizzly bears!
